A school bus with 19 children on board was in a minor traffic crash Monday afternoon near the 1700 block of Timesville Road, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
No injuries were reported at the scene after deputies were dispatched at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The children were on Bus 102 from Thrasher Elementary and were transferred to another bus before being taken home, Hamilton County Schools communications director Tim Hensely wrote in a statement.
According to the release, the school bus and another vehicle were attempting to take a sharp curve on the road and made contact.
This crash comes less than a week since a major crash in Meigs County where a bus driver and a 7-year-old girl lost their lives.
There were also reports of another school bus accidentally leaving the roadway on Oct. 29 on Signal Mountain, but no children were on board.
