The Chattanooga Democratic Socialists of America held a "Rally for Democracy" on Wednesday in Coolidge Park.

The rally was reportedly held to express a list of the group's demands, which included that all eligible ballots be counted and election results be respected, according to a news release from the group.

The group called for impartial investigations to be launched and "remedies quickly and appropriately applied" if "evidence emerges of election irregularities." They also want police and military to "respect people's First Amendment rights and protect those rights from armed individuals and groups who may threaten them," the release states.
