While many cities and organizations held virtual gatherings for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 18, some Chattanooga area residents got out and marched (while masked) to commemorate the day.
In Bradley County, residents and students marched through the Lee University campus, and on Eighth Street in downtown Chattanooga, some residents, including Chattanooga City Council Candidate D'Andre Anderson, had an impromptu MLK Day celebration.
