A vehicle left the roadway and crossed into oncoming traffic Sunday night, claiming the life of the vehicle's driver.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that 19-year-old Carson Buckner of Dalton, Ga., was traveling westbound on Interstate 24 near the South Pittsburg exit when his Nissan veered off the left side of the roadway.
The scene has been mostly cleared up, according to the TDOT SmartWay map, but some traffic congestion lingers in the area.
