Catoosa County launches COVID-19 vaccine hotline

Catoosa County, Georgia, residents who are 65 years old and older, health care workers and first responders now can call a new hotline to make appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Catoosa County government teamed up with the Georgia Department of Public Health to offer the vaccinations through the new phone line, according to a news release. Eligible residents can call 423-800-8004 to get information on how they can schedule an appointment.

The Ringgold Telephone Company is providing 15 phone lines, equipment and support for the hotline call center at the Catoosa County Colonnade.

Catoosa County government and Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce employees will staff the call center Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice, the news release states.

Eligible residents still can call the local health department at 706-406-2022 to make an appointment.
