Authorities in Cleveland, Tennessee, are investigating a Sunday afternoon fatal collision involving a tractor-trailer, according to a news release.
Investigators learned that shortly after 12:30 p.m., a tractor-trailer was heading southbound on Interstate 75 when it ran off the interstate at exit 27, crashed into two other vehicles and a power pole on Paul Huff Parkway, Cleveland police said.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, whose identity was not immediately known, died as a result of the crash, while the drivers of the two cars involved sustained minor injuries, the release stated.
The investigation is ongoing.
