A man died after a Friday morning crash in the 600 block of North Germantown Road, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The 39-year-old was driving a Lexus R33 on Germantown near the intersection with Menlo Street around 11:25 a.m. when he failed to make the curve. The vehicle went off the roadway and struck a utility pole and trees, the release states.
The driver was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the release states.
