Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old man on Wheeler Avenue Saturday night, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., officers arrived at the 1500 block of Wheeler Avenue to find Aaron Johnson suffering from gunshot injuries.
Emergency services transported Johnson to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to police.
