Four inmates captured after escaping from Silverdale Detention Center

Four inmates that escaped from Silverdale Detention Center on Saturday morning have been captured, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Officers determined the inmates were missing during a 5:30 a.m. headcount in a minimum security housing unit. The facility was placed on lockdown and an investigation determined the missing inmates had breached an exterior door and scaled the perimeter barbed wire fence.

Within a few hours, inmates Johnny Bryant and William Atkins were captured at a motel off McCutcheon Road, the release stated. Hours after the Sheriff's Office requested the public's help to locate Justin Lynn Conner and Trevor Lynn Hall, both were taken into custody. Conner was found in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and Hall was found in Jackson County, Tennessee.

The search operation involved HCSO officers, investigative services, K-9, fugitive, SWAT, patrol, narcotics, corrections security, crime intelligence, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshals and the Chattanooga Police Department.

Bryant and Atkins have been charged with resisting arrest and felony escape. Bryant faces additional burglary, evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Atkins faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine for resale and theft of property.

Conner faces the following charges from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga police department, the Sheriff's Office, Chattanooga Police Department, Bradley County Sheriff's Office and the Soddy Daisy Police Department: possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine for resale/manufacturing, use of stolen plates, theft of property, criminal impersonation, theft of property over $2,500, driving on revoked/suspended license, misdemeanor evading, window tint violation and felony escape.

Hall faces the following charges from the Soddy-Daisy Police Department and the Sheriff's Office: contraband in a penal institution, evading arrest, theft of property and felony escape.
