A United Christian Academy teacher in Cleveland, Tennessee, has been arrested and charged with aggravated statutory rape of a student, according to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.
On Monday, detectives responded to the school on Peerless Road and began investigating a claim of an inappropriate relationship between Amber Paige Green, 29, and a juvenile. Investigators determined that an off-campus sexual encounter between Green and the student occurred on Sunday, a news release said.
Green was indicted by a Bradley County grand jury on Wednesday. She was arrested Friday and taken to the Bradley County Jail, where she was being held on a $20,000 bond.
