White tells Leno of coming visit here

Betty White continues to be everywhere it seems and, during her appearance Tuesday night on "Late Night with Jay Leno," the host mentioned that she will be in Chattanooga this month.

She will be here as part of the Life: Boomers and Seniors Expo Aug. 15 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

During the show, Leno asked her about her busy schedule and pointed out that she will be here.

Also on the show, White shared the message she got from Tina Fey after both were nominated for Emmy Awards for their co-guest appearances on "Saturday Night Live."

White said she received a bouquet of flowers with a card that read "Dear Betty, congratulations on your nomination. Please try to mention my name in your acceptance speech. Love, Tina Fey."

Leno also pulled out a video clip of White's appearance on the Emmys in the mid-1970s.

"I remember your acceptance speech from 1976. Do you remember that one?" Leno asked.

"That was before my time," White said.

"Look at that dress. It's cleavage Betty," Leno said.

"That's still there," White said. "I just have better taste now."

Earlier in the week, actress Cloris Leachman was asked during a gathering at the Televisions Critics Association about all the love that White is receiving lately.

"I'm so sick of Betty White," she joked. "Never liked her."

The two are co-starring in a new movie called "You Again."
