Recently, we presented Jocelyn Pfeiffer the Selfless Act Award. This sweet first-grader at Soddy Elementary School graciously gave $100 of her birthday money to our Tailgate-A-Palooza Can Drive to help feed the hungry. This donation equaled 480 cans.

While the Soddy-Daisy community is recovering from severe flood damage, this little girl truly made an impact in a moment of need. Thank you for feeding your community, Jocelyn!

Also, we want to thank Soddy Elementary for partnering with First Volunteer Bank for this event. Soddy Elementary raised more than 4,000 cans for the community out of the 144,000 cans that First Volunteer Bank raised throughout its footprint from Tailgate-A-Palooza.
