Last month several local businesses, groups and organizations, along with youth from the community, celebrated the joy of giving by decorating Christmas trees for children's rooms at T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger.

The young volunteers were excited to be a part of Erlanger's Tiny Tree program to cheer their age-mates in the hospital. They decorated six trees during the "Deck the Trees" event at The Niche Venue on Market Street. Volunteers participating included the Young Yogaletts, Muscle Movers, Aprons4U, 3-D Kids Modeling Troop and Core Fit Pros.

"The children are filled with so much excitement when they pick their tiny tree," said Ashley Zani, Child Life Specialist at Children's Hospital. "They spend so much time deciding which one is their favorite. We want everyone who donated to know they have given so many children and their families smiles this holiday season."
