Good Deed: Good Samaritans help a woman in need

Good Deed
Good Deed

The lessons of the Good Samaritan and kindnesses of strangers' stories are alive and well in the Chattanooga community. Recently at a local Walgreens' the shift manager, Monique, and the cashier, Isaac, exhibited true compassion when a woman, confused and seemingly lost, appeared at 1:30 a.m. at the all-night Walgreens at Shallowford and Gunbarrel roads.

She told the Walgreens workers she didn't know how to get home. They used a telephone number she had and got to her family who came and picked her up. She had actually walked about a half mile. The kindness and patience shown to her by the Walgreens' employees possibly prevented a tragic event.
