And this week he put off discussion - beyond a Twitter tweet - of how he will avoid the conflicts of interest between his business empire and his upcoming part-time job of being president.
Yet on Tuesday morning, he made time to meet with musician Kanye West at Trump Tower.
And then he even made more time for a photo opportunity with Kanye in the Trump Tower's gilded lobby.
Maybe Kanye gave him a security briefing?
Or maybe Kanye is looking for a new executive producer for yet another fake reality show. After all, that's another of Trump's part-time jobs - executive producer of Celebrity Apprentice. Or maybe Kanye is looking for an Inaugural Ball gig.
To heck with Russian hacking. The Donald doesn't believe it happened anyway. And to heck with the fall of Aleppo and Syria's aggression. Phooey on making America great again.
Aren't we glad we elected a guy who cares more about TV than about being our president?
