For the second time in a week, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga softball team has lost a key member of its coaching staff.
Georgia Tech is expected to announce today that Lady Mocs pitching coach Shaina Ervin will be joining the Yellow Jackets staff for the 2011 season, according Seth Gerard of the Georgia Tech athletic department.
Ervin's departure from head coach Frank Reed's staff comes on the heels of assistant coach Brad Irwin's decision to take over as the new head coach at East Tennessee State.
