The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball team picked up a commitment this morning from Traevis Graham, a 6-foot-6 forward from Stuart, Fla.

Graham originally committed to Florida Atlantic and head coach Mike Jarvis in October of 2013, but after Jarvis was let go after the season and Michael Curry became the new coach of the Owls, asked for his release in July of 2014, citing a "misunderstanding with the coaching staff" at the time.

It's believed that new UTC assistant Peter Gash played a part in Graham's recruitment. The Times Free Press reported last week that Gash would be one of head coach Matt McCall's assistants - a report comfirmed by Gash's Twitter account Tuesday evening. He was the director of basketball operations under Jarvis for five seasons.

Graham spent last season at Daytona State Community College, averaging 8.3 points and 4.6 rebounds. He will have three years of eligibility with the Mocs.

His commitment currently fills the final scholarship for the team.
