Islanders report: They went through a roster overhaul this past offseason, with six additions - five of whom played junior college or Division I basketball prior. The early schedule hasn't offered too many challenges, but it has provided experience for some of the newer players. Smith and South, two of the returners, lead the way in the four-guard lineup.

Key matchup: Because of the Islanders' smaller-stature lineup, it's likely they will be looking for matchup advantages that will allow their players to take the Vols off the dribble, an area in which they have struggled. The Vols' perimeter defense is going to have to be good, because they'll be able to dominate the interior against their much smaller opponents.
