KNOXVILLE - Harrison Bailey, one of the top quarterbacks in the 2020 signing class, committed to Tennessee on Thursday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4, 217-pounder from Marietta, Georgia, chose the Volunteers over Michigan. He is ranked as the No. 2 pro-style quarterback by Rivals.com and is third in 247Sports.com's ratings.

He threw for 2,809 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2018, playing in nine games. He's a teammate of wide receiver Ramel Keyton, a Tennessee commitment for 2019.

Bailey's commitment came a day after the Vols lost sophomore quarterback Will McBride, who chose to transfer out of the program after two seasons. Bailey would join Jarrett Guarantano, J.T. Shrout and 2019 commitment Brian Maurer as quarterbacks on the 2020 roster.

Bailey is the Vols fourth commitment for 2020, joining receiver Antonio Barber, long snapper Will Albright and junior college defensive end Jordan Davis.
