Alabama landed the 15th commitment for its top-rated 2020 football recruiting class Friday evening, receiving a nonbinding pledge from four-star defensive back Brian Branch.
The 6-foot, 182-pounder from the Atlanta suburb of Tyrone is the nation's No. 18 safety and No. 225 prospect overall, according to the 247Sports.com composite rankings. Since the start of March, Branch has visited Tennessee, Michigan, Alabama, Florida State and Oklahoma.
Branch is the Crimson Tide's 11th commitment from Alabama or Georgia for their 2020 class. He attends Sandy Creek High School and tallied 58 tackles and five interceptions this past season on defense while making 15 catches for 368 yards and three touchdowns on offense.
