Georgia's 2020 football schedule, which opens against Virginia in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Labor Day night, was released by the Southeastern Conference on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs and Cavaliers will vie on Sept. 7, with Georgia hosting East Tennessee State five days later. Georgia will play its first true road game of the 2020 season on Sept. 19, when the Bulldogs face Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Georgia last traveled to Tuscaloosa in 2007, when the Bulldogs pulled out a 26-23 overtime triumph on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Mikey Henderson.

Following the game against Alabama, the Bulldogs will host Louisiana-Monroe (Sept. 26), Vanderbilt (Oct. 3) and Auburn (Oct. 10). Next year will mark the first regular-season matchup between Auburn and Georgia held outside of November since 1936, when the two teams were meeting in Columbus, Georgia.

Georgia's lone open date next season will be between an Oct. 17 trip to Missouri and the Oct. 31 showdown with Florida in Jacksonville. The Bulldogs will then play at South Carolina on Nov. 7 and host Tennessee on Nov. 14.

The Bulldogs and Volunteers last played during November in 1973.

Georgia will close next season with a Nov. 21 trip to Kentucky and a Nov. 28 home date against Georgia Tech.
