The Southeastern Conference announced agreements Tuesday afternoon with 10 postseason bowl games, including the additions of the Las Vegas Bowl and Tampa's Gasparilla Bowl.

All 10 bowls are in addition to games in the rotation of the College Football Playoff.

The SEC now has agreements through 2025 with the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, the Outback Bowl in Tampa, the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, the Music City Bowl in Nashville, the Texas Bowl in Houston, the Liberty Bowl in Memphis and the Birmingham Bowl. The league will partner with the Belk Bowl in Charlotte during the 2021, 2023 and 2025 seasons, and it will partner with the Las Vegas Bowl against Pac-12 foes in 2020, 2022 and 2024.

"We are pleased to have an SEC bowl lineup that provides exciting destinations for our student-athletes and traveling fans," league commissioner Greg Sankey said. "We enjoy great relationships with some of the best bowl games in college football, and this lineup will continue to provide a wide array of rewarding bowl-game experiences for our student-athletes and fans in celebration of a successful season."

The SEC will maintain its existing selection process, which gives the Citrus Bowl the first pick of available SEC teams after the league schools that have qualified for the four-team playoff and/or have been invited to the Sugar Bowl.

After those teams are distributed, the SEC office will again assign teams to the "pool of six" bowls, which consist of the Outback, Gator, Music City, Texas and Liberty, as well as the Las Vegas in even-numbered years and the Belk in the odd-numbered years.

The last two picks will be the Birmingham and Gasparilla bowls, which will collaborate on choosing any remaining eligible SEC teams. The league no longer will have a tie-in with the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana.
