The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga coaches caravan will be making an Atlanta appearance Wednesday evening, and fans will be able to interact with football coach Rusty Wright, basketball coaches Lamont Paris and Katie Burrows and softball coach Frank Reed as well as vice chancellor and athletic director Mark Wharton. Hosted by Suzanne and Charles Forlidas, the 6:30-8:30 p.m. event will be at a private residence in northwestern Atlanta, and light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided. Golf

* Beck Burnette of Blairsville shot a 3-under-par 69 Tuesday in the Georgia Junior Championship golf tournament at Augusta Country Club and was in a five-way tie for fifth place after the first round, one stroke behind the four leaders. Eight other teenagers were tied for 10th with 70s. Ainsley Cowart of Winston had a 67 for a three-shot lead as the Georgia Girls' tourney began at the Harbor Club in Greensboro. Chatsworth's Tori Owens was tied for 24th after a 79, and Calhoun's Ella Manley was 39th at 84.
