Georgia has acquired its share of size in recent college football recruiting classes.

The Bulldogs went after speed with their latest commitment.

Corey Wren, a 5-foot-9, 170-pound athlete prospect from John Curtis High in New Orleans is the latest recruit in the 2020 recruiting cycle to give the Bulldogs a nonbinding pledge. Wren is a three-star prospect and the No. 515 recruit nationally in the 247Sports.com composite rankings, with Florida State, Nebraska, Ohio State and Tennessee among the schools that have offered him a scholarship in recent weeks or months.

While running track this past spring, Wren turned in a 100-meter dash time of 10.41 seconds and a 200-meter time of 21.62. His 100-meter time was the fastest among high school athletes in Louisiana.

In a recent interview with 247Sports.com, Wren said he would use this summer to shift from track to football training.

"I can be a mismatch in the right offense," Wren said. "My speed is my go-to. Slot receiver is where coaches see me."

Wren is the 15th commitment for the Bulldogs, who have one five-star and 11 four-star commitments.
