CBS announced roughly half of its Southeastern Conference football telecast schedule on Tuesday for a 10-game regular season that will consist solely of league games.

The network will open by showing the Mississippi State at LSU game on Sept. 26 and follow that with Texas A&M at Alabama on Oct. 3. Each of those contests will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern.

CBS has one prime-time telecast each season and will use that on Oct. 17, when Georgia visits Alabama.

Other games announced Tuesday include LSU at Auburn on Oct. 31, Florida versus Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 7, and Alabama at LSU on Nov. 14. The Alabama-LSU showdown will start at 6 p.m. Eastern, and it will follow the network's coverage of the third round of the Masters golf tournament.

The SEC championship game on Dec. 19 has a kickoff time that has yet to be determined.

Additional kickoff times for late September and early October games on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the SEC Network will be announced soon.
