The Tennessee Volunteers are headed back to the Pacific Northwest.

Tennessee and Washington on Wednesday announced a home-and-home football series for the 2029 and 2030 seasons. The Vols and Huskies, who have never faced one another, will collide inside Neyland Stadium on Sept. 1, 2029, before vying at Husky Stadium in Seattle on Sept. 7, 2030.

"We are thrilled about scheduling a high-caliber Pac-12 program like Washington," Tennessee athletic director Danny White said through a release. "These schools offer fans the chance to experience two very unique venues on the water in great cities."

Neyland Stadium and Husky Stadium not only offer fans the option to arrive by boat, but both venues are more than 100 years old.

Tennessee's last trip to that region of the country transpired in 2013, when the Vols were hammered 59-14 at Oregon. The Vols are 14-15-3 all-time against teams from the Pac-12 Conference, which includes a 7-6-2 mark against UCLA.

The Vols also played Utah three times and Colorado once before those schools joined the Pac-12.
