OAKVILLE, Ontario - Keegan Bradley played the last four holes in 6 under, making two of his three eagles Friday in that stretch, to pull within a shot of the lead after the second round of the RBC Canadian Open.

Playing alongside leader Kevin Tway at Glen Abbey Golf Club, Bradley closed birdie-eagle-birdie-eagle for a 9-under-par 63. He also eagled the par-5 second hole.

"That was wild," Bradley said. "It turned kind of an average day out here into something really special. There's not many courses you can do that on like you can out here. That's what makes it such a great event."

Tway birdied the final hole for a 65 to get to 13 under. He's trying to win for the first time on the PGA Tour in the event his father won 15 years ago for his last victory.

"I talk to Dad every day, no matter if I'm home, here," Tway said. "We talk about every round. He can probably tell you what kind of shots I'm hitting just by watching on TV. He knows what the swing looks like. He's been there throughout, so he's a big key for me."

Bradley holed putts of 10 feet on the par-3 15th, 20 feet on the par-5 16th, 27 feet on the par-4 17th and 20 feet on the par-5 18th - after hitting an approach from 159 yards.

"If you hit a good drive, it's really narrow, you're going to have mid-iron in," Bradley said. "That's why it's a fun par 5, is it's so tight. But I got down there, and I had a perfect number with a wedge and hit it to 20 feet."

He made a seven-footer on No. 2 for the first eagle.

The 32-year-old American won the 2011 PGA Championship and has three PGA Tour victories, the most recent in the 2012 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational.

Whee Kim had a 65 to match Bradley at 12 under. Byeong Hun An (67) and Johnson Wagner (65) were tied for fourth at 11 under, and Aaron Baddeley (66), Zac Blair (67), top-ranked Dustin Johnson (66) and Joaquin Niemann (67) followed at 10 under.

Chattanooga's Stephan Jaeger (71) was tied for 61st at 4 under, and he was joined in making the cut on the number by fellow Baylor School graduate Keith Mitchell (71). Another former Red Raiders standout, Harris English (72), missed the cut by three strokes.

Two are tied

ST. ANDREWS, Scotland - Stephen Ames and Miguel Angel Jimenez shared the lead at 9 under during the second round of the Senior British Open when darkness ended play early.

Ames is among 18 golfers who must return this morning to complete their rounds. The Canadian has one hole to go.

Jimenez shot a 5-under 67 for a 36-hole total of 135, with the Spaniard a shot ahead of 2017 tournament champion Bernhard Langer (69), Jeff Sluman (68) and Kirk Triplett (71).

Among three players in the clubhouse at 137 was three-time winner Tom Watson, who shot his age by posting a 68. He was tied with Jarmo Sandelin (69) and Vijay Singh (69).

The 31-year-old American picked up five birdies and one bogey, her first of the week, and was at 13-under 129 overall.

U.S. Open champion Ariya Jutanugarn tied for the day's low round with a 65 to get within three strokes of the lead, along with Amy Yang (66). Caroline Masson (65) was another stroke back in fourth.
