The stars were out in Decatur on Wednesday for the Region 3-AA high school softball final.
Tennessee signee Ashley Rogers pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts, and Toledo signee Aubrey Reed had a grand slam and five RBIs in Meigs County's five-inning 10-0 victory over Sweetwater.
Arika Reed went 4-for-4, drove in two runs and scored two for the Lady Tigers, who play next in a state sectional again at home against Sequatchie County, which fell 4-1 to DeKalb County in the Region 4 title game. The sectional is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday because Sequatchie has graduation Friday and Meigs has its ceremony Saturday.
Kassidy Kenny had a double, two RBIs and three runs scored for Meigs, and she joined Summer Skinner in going 2-for-3.
