A late flurry by both teams Saturday night ended with visiting Jacksonville earning a 5-4 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T Field.

Andy Wilkins' three-run home run capped the Lookouts' four-run eighth inning that gave them a 4-1 lead relief pitchers Williams Ramirez and Anthony Marzi (0-7) couldn't hold. The Jumbo Shrimp scored four runs in the ninth on three singles, a walk and Brian Miller's go-ahead double to right field, and Tommy Eveld struck out the only three Lookouts he faced for his fourth save of the season.

Despite starting pitcher Tyler Wells' seven strikeouts and only three hits allowed in six scoreless innings, the Lookouts dropped to 25-35 in the second half of the Southern League season and 61-68 overall.

John Norwood homered leading off the eighth inning for the Jumbo Shrimp (52-76), who then had runners on third and second with one out but failed to add to the 1-0 lead.

The Lookouts then got a one-out single from Joe Cronin, a bunt single for Tanner English on which Cronin took third on a throwing error and a tying sacrifice fly by Mitchell Kranson. Brent Rooker singled English to third ahead of Wilkins' tie-smashing homer to right field.

But the Shrimp sandwiched singles by Joe Dunand and John Silviano around a strikeout and got a wild pitch and then a bases-filling Norwood walk off Ramirez. Sharif Othman greeted Marzi with a two-run single, and Anfernee Seymour tied the game with a forceout - left field to second base - and scored on Miller's double.

English went 2-for-2 and almost scored in the third, when he was out at the plate trying to stretch a two-out triple to center.

The Lookouts will host Jacksonville again at 2:15 p.m. today and then Monday and Tuesday nights.
