Lookouts win third in a row, 5-3 at Mobile

The Chattanooga Lookouts won their third consecutive game Thursday night, 5-3 at Mobile, helped by a good early start that featured Zander Wiel's leadoff double to left field and Brent Rooker's home run to right-center.

The Lookouts (9-18) made it a 3-0 advantage in the fourth inning, when Luis Arraez hit a leadoff double to center and scored on Mitchell Kranson's single to center. The BayBears pulled within 4-3 before Sam Clay and Tyler Jay combined to pitch scoreless eighth and ninth innings.

Game three of the five-game series in Mobile is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Sean Poppen (2-5, 4.63 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Jeremy Beasley (1-1, 3.60) scheduled for the BayBears.
