Marvin Billups

Marvin Eugene Billups, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at his residence.He was formerly employed by Shaw Industries.He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Geneva Billups; brothers, Nathaniel, Horace and Oscar Billups.Survivors include his wife, Janice Billups; sons, Robert (Evelyn) Billups and Frederick (Jenika) Billups, all of Chattanooga; stepdaughters, Tukisha (Eric) Quinn, of Portland, Ore., Yashika Curtis, of Calhoun, Ga., and Methany Curtis; five grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter, Mikeryah; brothers, Tommy Billups, John Billups and Willie James Billups; sister, Emma Bell Patterson; niece, Kenya Billups, all of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Shirley Ramsey, of Calhoun, Ga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.Funeral: today at 1 p.m. at E. Third Street Church of Christ.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
