Robert Flegal

Robert Brian Flegal, 49, passed away Saturday April 5, 2014. A resident of the LaFayette area for the past 33 years, he was formerly of Brownsboro, Ala. He was a former employee of Diamond Detective Agency where he worked as a security guard for two years and was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mack and Lena Mae York Flegal. He is survived by his son, Chris Flegal (Nicole), of Chickamauga, Ga..; daughter, Nikki Flegal Pettigrew (Stewart), of LaFayette; sister, Kim Flegal (Matt Allbritton) of LaFayette; four grandchildren, Madison Flegal, Benji Flegal, Parker Crabtree and Greyson Crabtree; and nephew, Blake Reynolds. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Rayburn officiating. Interment will follow at Fuller Cemetery in Ider, Ala. The family will receive friends today from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home. An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
