Clarence Lynn

Clarence "C.W." Lynn, 79, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Baptist Faith. C.W. retired from welding in 1992 after 30 years working for Ross Meehan and Boiler Heat as a master welder. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather who will be missed greatly. C.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Anderson and Battie A. Cummings Lynn; children, Butch Lynn and Tamera Darlene Lynn; siblings, June Lynn, Albert Barney Lynn and Vivian Townsend. He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Z. Lynn; siblings, Dorothy Wallin, Paul Lynn and Willie Fay Early; grandchildren, Vickie Shahan, Whitney McMahon and Kelly Peters; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Randy Lynn officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today, all day Thursday and prior to the service on Friday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
