Delma Warren

Delma Warren, 64, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga. He joined Union Grove Baptist Church at a very young age. In later years he joined Mt. Canaan Church and attended regularly until his health failed. He was a 1972 graduate of Howard High School. He retired from Mueller Company. Delma was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Dillard Sr. and Mariah Warren; his brother, Freddie D. Warren Jr.; sister, Cora B. Warren; aunt, Mary Wood. Survivors include, his wife, Eleanor Warren; brothers, Levarn (Rosie) Warren, Buffalo, N.Y., James Warren Sr.; sisters, Orean James, Dayton, Ohio, Mary E. (Bishop Charles) Maddox, Daytona Beach, Fla., MarchShella Evans, Chattanooga; stepsons, Kevin (Damon) Smith, Chattanooga and Michael (Lorraine) Smith, Charlotte Hall, Maryland; aunt, Elizabeth Miller, Buffalo, New York; very devoted sisters-in-law, Nellie R. Warren and Kathy Warren; devoted friend, Jimmy Townsend; grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
