Jill Yarbrough

Jill Annette Yarbrough, 51, of Lookout Valley, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at her home. Jill loved Our Lord, her family and her friends. She loved the Tennessee River her entire life and was happiest when boating with family and friends. Her constant companion every minute she was home was her black cat, Angel. Jill was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Porter Yarbrough Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Ansel Peak; sister, Kristie Danby (Mark); nephew, Mark Danby III (Amanda); niece, Anna Leigh Danby; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Jill’s life and a reception will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Northside Presbyterian Church, 923 Mississippi Avenue. Contributions in memory of Jill may be made to Kidney Foundation Chattanooga, Northside Neighborhood House, Wounded Warriors and the Chambliss Center for Children.
