Kay Griffith

SOUTH PITTSBURG — Kay Griffith, 65, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, after a brief illness.

The daughter of the late John E. and Wilma Gilliam Griffith, Kay was a 1972 graduate of South Pittsburg High School, a member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, an accomplished pianist and a dentist.

She is survived by a brother, John C. Griffith of Lynchburg, Va.; a niece, Laura Griffith Miller, of Lynchburg; three nephews, John Joseph Griffith, of Fredericksburg, Va., David Andrew Griffith of Lynchburg, and Brian Adam Griffith, of Norfolk, Va.; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, from Noon until time of the service at 2 p.m. CDT.
