Charles Higgins

Charles (Charlie) David Higgins, 69, of Soddy-Daisy, went to be with the Lord on December 06, 2020. He was of the Baptist faith and spent a majority of his time enjoying activities with his family, going hunting and fishing. He was an active Past Master of Daisy Masonic Lodge No. 706 and Sale Creek Lodge No. 280. He also enjoyed his time at the Highland Sportsman Club and several other organizations (special mention: Alhambra Shriners, Scottish Rite and Ooltewah Conservation Club). Charlie was a retired Machinist at TVA and a member of the IAMAW Local Lodge #1458, serving most of his career at Sequoyah Nuclear Power Plant. He spent several years serving in the Army National Guard, 181st Field Artillery Unit of Chattanooga and Dayton, TN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Higgins and mother, Thelma W. Higgins; Uncle, Johnny Harper; Aunt, Wilma Shackelford and other beloved family members that have went to be with the Lord.

Survivors include his loving wife, Angela Higgins; Sons, Conner Higgins; Tyler Higgins and Stepson, Austin Martin. Brothers; Danny Higgins (wife: Synthia), Michael (Mike) Higgins (Wife: Reesa). Brother-in-law; Travis Mann. This family is very large, and Charlie had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family that he loved dearly.

The family will hold a Visitation/Gathering and accept friends on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 4-6pm at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.

A Masonic Funeral Ceremony will be presented at approximately 5pm to honor Brother Higgins and offer condolence to his family.
