SUMMERVILLE — Phillip “Phil” Allan Elsberry age 62, beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday – January 15, 2020. He was born in Summerville and had resided in Douglasville and Atlanta. Being a Christian, he avidly studied the Bible and was quite the Renaissance man. He is preceded in death by his father: James Henry Elsberry. He is survived by his wife: Jeri Elsberry of Summerville, mother: Billie Fae Hayes Elsberry of Southwest Atlanta, children: Blake (Lauren) Elsberry of Trion, Sarah (John) Dawson of Summerville, Rebecca Guinn of Trion, Erin (Adam) Jackson of Villanow, Mark Elsberry of Villanow, Joseph (Haley) Elsberry of Trion, April (Jason) Ledford of Yorkville, Neil (Jaime) Denham of Tellico Plains, Aurora (Donnie) Gwin of Yorkville, Audrey (Lloyd) Gruber of Sweetwater, sisters: Melody (Chris) Godfrey of Newnan, Stacie (Parrish) Walker of Senoia, thirty-three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon – 3:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm – Saturday – January 18, 2020 in the chapel.
