Alma Jo Rigggs

Alma Jo Riggs, 83 of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, November 1 2020.

She was a lifelong resident of Spring City, TN and Chattanooga, TN and was a member of East Ridge United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt A. Riggs and a son, Timothy C. Riggs.

Survivors are her son Richard L. (Barb) Riggs; Daughter-in-law, Kimberly K. Riggs; Grandsons, Chance (Ashley), Jacob (Kelsey), Matthew (Carley) and Kevin; great-granddaughters, Emma Grace Riggs, Evie Mae Riggs, Hadley Clair and Haigen Olivia Riggs.

Funeral services will be held on at 12 Noon Saturday, November 7, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Natalie Smart officiating.

A graveside service will follow at 2 PM Saturday, November 7, at Pierce Cemetery in Evansville, TN, Rhea County.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Per the current health situation and mandate of the Hamilton County Mayor, all family members and visitors must adhere to all CDC guidelines, including social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings for visitation and/or services.
