Floyd Meadows

Floyd Eugene "Geneo" Meadows, 79, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord at his home on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

He was the son of the late Floyd Washington and Sadie Holcomb Meadows. Geneo was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In 1959 he graduated from Rossville High School, where he was a member of the High School Band.

Geneo was also preceded in death by his wife, Karen Frances "Cookie" Meadows.

He is survived by his sons, Glen (Sharon) Meadows, Greg (Kristie) Meadows, Gary (Maleah) Meadows all of Chattanooga, brother, Lebron (Helen) Meadows of Chattanooga, sister, Maxine Thompson of Fort Payne, AL, grandchildren, David (Jasmine) Meadows, Allison (Jordon) Delashmitt, Heath Wright, Hunter Meadows, Hannah (Will) Scarbrough, Cade Meadows, Lane Meadows, great-grandchildren, Cooper Meadows, Parker Meadows, Ella Meadows, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steve Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
