Marilyn Goins

Marilyn Hale Goins, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2020. She was born on March 21, 1934 in Decatur, Tennessee to the late Allen and Hester Hale. She was the youngest child of ten. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Siniard.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leo Rex Goins; two sons, Allen R. Goins (Nerisa) and Terry Goins (Susan); granddaughters, Elisa Holder (Jim), Christy Craig (Dominic), and Cheryl Sabatino; great grandchildren, Ashley Hayes (Cody), Hailey Holder, Brett Holder, Jaden Sabatino, Audrey Sabatino, and Ever and Mabe Craig; as well as two sisters, June Beavers and Margie Sherrill and many extended family.

A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memory Gardens East on Tuesday, October 27th at 11:00 am.

We respectfully request that all CDC Covid 19 guidelines be followed, including masks and social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marilyn’s favorite charity, St Jude Children’s Hospital.
