Robert Richelson

Robert Bruce Richelson, 65, of Chattanooga, Tenn., suddenly passed away on Oct. 24, 2020; it

has left a huge hole in our hearts. So many loved him, especially his wife of 18 years, Jeanna was the love of his life; he loved her so much and was the BEST caregiver during her cancer journey.

Robert was born on Feb. 8, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tenn., he was a graduate of Brainerd High

School, class of 1973, and earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of

Tennessee.

Robert worked for the family business, Richelson Ironworks, for several years. He continued working there after they sold to Commercial Metals until he began working for Siskin Steel in

1996. He loved music, dancing, and having a good time. Robert was the life of the party! He was a gadget man, especially electronics. He always found a way to make something work faster or easier. He was an avid kite flyer of rather large kites. After reeling in his kite for the first time, he knew there had to be a better way so he invented a winder that he could attach to his

cordless drill and wind it in quickly and effortlessly.

Robert had a big heart and was very giving. He was an animal lover, especially dogs. He was

very supportive to many animal charities. He was very generous to strangers and friends. He will be greatly missed!

In Robert's memory, consider making a donation to your favorite animal shelter.
