Zoolah Mae Long

JASPER - On the beautiful morning of September 17, 2020, the Lord took the hands of Zoolah Mae Webb Long to lead her to the Golden Gates in heaven. Zoolah, age of 86 years old, was a lifetime resident of Jasper, TN. She was born on September 14, 1934 to Robert and Annie Webb. Zoolah was a loving wife, mother, cook and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and cherished her Lord and Savior.

Zoolah’s greatest love and heroes were Peyton Manning and Jeff Gordon. During her pastime she enjoyed working puzzles. She was also a huge fan of the Tennessee Vols, Atlanta Braves and NASCAR Racing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Lewis Long, Sr.; parents, Robert and Annie Webb; brothers, Bobby Webb, Willard Webb and Pat Webb; sister, Louise Pilgrim and grandson, Alex Long.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her daughter, Carol Dallmann; sons, Kenneth (Carol) Long, Jimmy (Claudia) Long and Jeff (Melinda) Long; sisters, Dorothy Potts and Katherine “Kat” Moree; granddaughters, Laura (Chris) Sanders and Kimberly Long; grandson, Barry Long; great-granddaughter, Hannah Sanders along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.

The graveside service and laying Zoolah to rest will be held at 2:00 pm CST at Baptist Hill Cemetery in Jasper, TN with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
