Paul Ladd

Paul Ladd passed away unexpectedly on November 29, at his home. Paul was born August 13, 1956, along with a sister, to Bill and Frances Barber Ladd at Women’s Hospital in Chattanooga.

Paul was a graduate of Hixson High School and was a nurse for over 40 years, retiring recently from Red Bank Life Care. Paul was known for his dedicated work ethic and his incredible compassion for his patients and their families. Often Paul arrived to work early to provide an extra degree of care for a patient in need. Paul had unquestionable integrity, care, kindness, and loyalty to those he loved and for anyone needing his help. He had a fierce determination. He was selfless in putting others first and never complained about his own discomforts or situation. He had a quick wit and made those around him laugh.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, cousins, and dog Jake.

Left to cherish his memories are loving and devoted sisters, Cathy (Steve) Pendley and twin sister Pam Ladd; nephews Scott (Tracy) Pendley, Shane (Roland) Adams; great niece Hannah Pendley; cousins James Hill and Mark Moses; two cats he adored, Tiger and Buddy.
