Lloyd Cronnon
Lloyd Simon Cronnon, 84, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021.
Mr. Cronnon was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, was of the Church of God faith, and he attended Kirkman High School. Mr. Cronnon worked many years with Tennessee Stove
Works/Modern Maid and he retired in the 1980’s from Roper as a Supervisor. Mr.
Cronnon loved the Lord, spending time with his family, reading his bible, and enjoying sports.
He was preceded in death by his son, Philip Lloyd; dad and step-mother, Simon and
Margaret Cronnon; mom and step-father, Mabel and Silas Ivey; brothers, Robert Cronnon and L.C. Cronnon; and sisters, Barbara Henley and Judy Cronnon.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Phyllis Allison Cronnon; three children, Sherrie
(Richard) Perrin, Paula Brown, and Allison Moore; brothers, Jimmy Cronnon and Tommy Cronnon; sister, Inez Higdon; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 2:30 p.m. at Lakewood South Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of
Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge,
Rossville.
