Arthur Robbins

Arthur Gene Robbins, 91, a prominent automobile dealer went home to be with the Lord on Friday

July 23, 2021.

A native of Callaway, Ky., he was the son of the late Leonard Z. and Ruby Campbell

Robbins. Gene was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was

associated with Pioneer Bank for several years. He was the former Business Manager at Andy Trotter Pontiac and for more than 38 years was the owner of the Ringgold Chrysler –Dodge- Jeep dealership in Ringgold, Ga. He was a former member of the Chattanooga Downtown Lions Club and Past

President of the Ringgold Kiwanis Club. He was a former member of First Christian Church and currently an active member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and the Pioneer Sunday

School Class.

Preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Donald K. Robbins.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Jean Robbins who was an avid traveler visiting several foreign countries including England, Germany, Australia, and all fifty of the United States. Also

surviving are his son, Michael and wife, Joy Robbins of Ringgold, GA; two grandchildren, Michaela (Nathan) Kourmoulis and Maggie Robbins; great-granddaughter, Ellie Kourmoulis, one sister, Dorothy Hoskins of Clarkston, Michigan; several nephews, and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 29, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Naval Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
