Lewis Casteel

Lewis Casteel, 79, of Ooltewah passed away on October 13, 2021. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a past employee of the Chattanooga Free Press and retired from Campbell Printing Company, Dalton, Ga. He enjoyed going fishing and talking to friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Fannie Casteel, brothers, RL Casteel, Wendell Casteel, sisters, Leilla Dillard, Sandra Oakley.

He is survived by his sister Jean Rogers, brothers Garland (Ruby) Casteel, Farrell (Meredith) Casteel, Norman Casteel, and Steve (Kathy) Casteel, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22 at 2:00pm EST at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.

Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
