Buford Nabors

Buford Lebron Nabors, 71, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at his residence.Mr. Nabors was a native of Rossville and a graduate of Rossville High School. He attended the University of Chattanooga and was retired from Ashland Oil where he served as general manager for thirty years. Buford was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville and was a world traveler and loved to take his "road trips." His parents, Clymer and Lorene Crawford Nabors, preceded him in death.Left to cherish his memory is his longtime companion and "sweetheart," Cherie Gilliam of Signal Mountain; brother, Bob (Virginia) Nabors, Ringgold; nieces Kelly (Bryan) Lawler and Cathy Nabors, of Ringgold, and Cindy Nabors, of Harrison; nephew, Rob (Darlene) Nabors, of Chickamauga; several great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Danny Henson officiating.
