James Clark

James H. Clark, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at a local hospital.James was born in Grantville, Ga., to the late Willie and Dora Clark.He was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1957. He retired from Erlanger Hospital 2005.He was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Ellen Clark, Russell Clark, Nellie Robinson and Rev. Willie D. Clark.James is survived by his devoted wife, Juanita H. Clark; children, Rosalind Clark, Philadelphia, Pa., Sharon Clark, Yolanda Faye Jones, Lebron Furgerson, Jeffery Hudgins; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Mattie C. Sims, Rev. William (Sylvia), Rev. Emmitt (Janet) Clark; sisters and brothers-in-law, Callie Clark, Betty King, Liz Edwards, Walter (Martha) Hemphill; nieces, nephews; one uncle; other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the chapel.Interment in National CemeteryThe body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 6 7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
