David Ronald Smith, 58, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his home.He was born Dec. 9, 1955, in Chattanooga. He was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church and Celebrate Recovery.Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Janis Smith.Survivors include his son, Christopher David (Kim) Smith; granddaughter, Kaleigh Smith, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Hillary West of Chattanooga; parents, Marvin and Peggy Smith; brothers, Mike (Gennie) Smith, of Clarksville, Mark Smith, of Chickamauga and Joey (Karen) Smith, of East Ridge; sister, Jennie (Tim) Smith Anderson; several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 22 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-9 p.m.Memorial donations may be made to Home of Grace PO Box 5009, Vancleave, MS 39565.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel, 404 S.
